American Memory

American Memory by the Library of Congress: memory.loc.gov/ammem/index.html. This site serves as a front door to over 100 American Memory collections created by the Library of Congress. There is access to over 7 million documents, photographs, maps, films and audio files. In addition, teachers will find lesson plans, features, activities, and a section on professional development. Primary source documents are valuable resources for teachers and students alike. This is site is well organized and easily searchable according to content/curricular areas.
