Differentiated Instruction

The focus of our podcast series is Differentiated Instruction, commonly referred to as DI. DI is a flexible approach to teaching in which the teacher plans and carries out varied approaches to content, process, and product in anticipation of and in response to student differences in readiness, interests, and learning needs (Tomlinson, 1995, p. 10). My teammates and I take on the roles of principal, teacher and student as we present scenarios to further explain the DI strategy.

Having Fun with DI
As I was listening to this series, I kept thinking that you all must have had a fun time creating this very upbeat and creative series on differentiated instruction. So, when I came to the end of episode 3 my assumptions were definitely confirmed. I very much enjoyed how you've captured the essence of DI in this series and how you've interwoven this with your student, teacher, administrator personas. Your slogans, chants, and sound effects were terrific. Nice job!
