Constructivism

The constructivist approach to learning is a foundation for student-centered learning, collaborative learning, inquiry-based learning and project-based learning. It provides the philosophical underpinnings for these educational movements.
We have created three (hopefully) humorous podcasts modeled after the terrific National Public Radio program, “Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me.” In the course of our silliness we attempted to define the constructivist philosophy of education and how it differs from a more tradition approach to education.
Resouces we used for the infomation included in these podcasts:
-
Constructivism and the Five E's
-
Constructivism and Technology
-
What is Constructivism?
-
Constructivism as a Paradigm for Teaching and Learning
-
Constructing Knowledge with Technology
-
Connecting Student Learning and Technology- computers and Constructivism
